Art Retreat in Estes Park - DAY THREE

Day 3 of the Painted Prism Art Retreat, started with another 7:30 am Yoga Session --

It was another glorious summer day in the Rockies!

At 10:00 am, we gathered again in the Art Studio, to work on the Color Wheel Mandalas . . .

It was time to start working on the individual Color Sections -- using the references they had been collecting for the last 2 days . . .

Mother and daughter, Barbara and Carol, taking a lunch break.

Here's some of the work, so far:

Our yoga instructor, Mo, was also our caterer for lunch.  We were very lucky to have her!

Hunting for references for their Aquabord Project . . .

Back out to the Art Studio, to begin the Aquabord Project -- First, "drawing" the shapes with liquid acrylic . . .

After "drawing" all the shapes with a brush and liquid acrylic, the next step was the "un-painting", with  water and Q-tips . . .

Free Time!

Our Evening Gatherings started every night at 7:00 pm . . .

Tonight, Cheri introduced the Rhyming Rap Activity, and everyone was randomly assigned to one of four groups.

And, that's a wrap for today!
